Our practices include Business Development, Software and IT Services, Staffing Services, and Policy/Regulatory Consultation. DPRA is proud to announce that our quality management system (QMS) has been assessed and certified as meeting the requirements of ISO 9001:2015. This certification reflects our commitment to providing quality products and services.
The DPRA Story
DPRA was founded in 1961 in Manhattan, Kansas, but was not incorporated into the company we know today until 1972. Initially our focus centered on agriculture and serving as a research and consulting firm to the U.S. government. Today we are primarily an IT company serving in the federal market.
DPRA employees come from diverse backgrounds, including technology, military, contracting, and finance. Our team members collaborate both in-person and remotely in a relaxed work environment where everyone has the personal and professional space to accomplish their work objectives. Examples of our IT work objectives include solving some of the most challenging logistics and transportation problems in the world.
The US military has the capability of deploying millions of people and equipment—volumes that could populate an entire city. By helping develop software solutions that facilitate those large-scale logistics, DPRA employees find the challenging nature of the problems they are solving to be meaningful and rewarding. Our environmental division works with a variety of customers to assist with codification of regulations between federal and local markets, records management, and database integration.
Our main offices are located in Manhattan, Kansas, and Knoxville, Tennessee. We also have employees located across the nation, including Dallas, Texas; O’Fallon, Illinois; Denver, Colorado; and Washington, D.C. Additionally, DPRA has subsidiary offices throughout Canada.
